Premium AEROTEC commences its production for the A330neo

Aerostructures supplier Premium AEROTEC started manufacturing of parts for the first A330neo. Airbus COO Tom Williams witnessed the first metal cut at the companys plant in Varel in Northern Germany. Together with further parts, the now commenced aluminium frame will form a door frame for the new Airbus long-range airliner.

Premium AEROTEC reaches an agreement on collaboration for the industrialisation of printed aircraft components

Premium AEROTEC comes a significant step closer to introducing series production of 3D printed aircraft components. The company has agreed to work together with Laser Zentrum Nord GmbH to certify the processes needed for the manufacturing of printed aircraft components and to begin series production.

Thomas Ehm new at the helm of Premium AEROTEC

Dr. Thomas Ehm (48) has assumed the leadership of the aviation supplier Premium AEROTEC. The company had already announced this step at the start of June. As Chairman of the Board of Management, he is responsible for the strategic and operational objectives of Premium AEROTEC. The Supervisory Board appointed Frank Müller (47) as the new Head of Human Resources.

Changes in Premium AEROTECs top management team

Top management team of aerostructures supplier Premium AEROTEC will change: Dr. Christoph Hoppe, chairman of the board of management, will leave the company after successful restructuring upon his own request. In autumn 2015 he will take on a new professional challenge outside Airbus Group. His successor will be Dr. Thomas Ehm (48), who is currently Head of Human Resources and member of the board of management of Airbus in Germany. The supervisory board of Premium AEROTEC has appointed him with effect of 1 July 2015.
