Premium AEROTEC commences aircraft component production in Romania

Premium AEROTEC commences manufacture of aircraft components at its new factory in Ghimbav, Bra?ov County, Romania. The company is thus continuing to extend its business activities and pursue a course of expansion. Surrounded by the workforce, plant manager Jochen von Wurmb gave the signal for production kick-off at the 60,000-square-metre facility.

Joachim Nägele appointed to Executive Board of Management of Premium AEROTEC

The Supervisory Board of Premium AEROTEC GmbH has unanimously named Joachim Nägele (48), Head of Programmes and Sales, as a further member of the Executive Board of Management. Nägele was additionally named Executive Board of Management spokesman on an interim basis.

75 years of aircraft construction in Nordenham: Premium AEROTEC celebrates with grand Family Day

The aerostructures company Premium AEROTEC held a Family Day at its Nordenham plant on Saturday, thus also celebrating an anniversary: 75 years of aircraft construction in Nordenham. The nearly 2,700 employees were invited to show their families the sites modern aircraft component production facilities, and some more than 20,000 visitors took advantage of that opportunity.

Premium AEROTEC starts production of panels for new Airbus A350 XWB

Berlin, 8 June 2010 Premium AEROTEC is preparing for series production of the new A350 XWB long-haul aircraft. Production of the first panels made of carbon fibre composites (CFCs) for the A350 XWB will start at the Nordenham site in June. The Augsburg site will follow suit shortly afterwards. Premium AEROTEC is the worlds largest supplier of fuselage structures for the A350 XWB. Its total investment in this future generation of aircraft amounts to around 360 million, as the company announced in connection with a press meeting held in the run-up to the ILA Berlin Air Show 2010.
