The main tasks here are the production and assembly of fuselage sections and highly stressable structural components for the military and civil programmes, including their equipment such as electrical components and piping modules.

In addition to hybrid lightweight structures for fuselage and wing modules, the portfolio also includes all leading-edge CFRP technologies in prepreg, infiltration processes and sandwich construction techniques.

Additionally, the pressure bulkheads for the Airbus A350 XWB and Boeing 787 are produced, as is the cargo door for the new A400M military transporter using the new Vacuum Assisted Process (VAP®), which was developed and patented in Augsburg.
