For many decades, the Premium AEROTEC plants have been centers of competence in building aircraft:
“Aerostructures made in Augsburg” has come to be synonymous with quality in aircraft technology. In 2000, the “innovation award of german industry” was given to the Nordenham plant for their laser welding technology on fuselage structures. Varel is specialist in the development and design of production tools and the construction of wind channel models.
